Long Life Rechargeable Batteries Pendant Battery A lithium-ion battery provides over 4 hours of talk time on a full charge, and up to 4 months in stand-by. Two rechargeable batteries are included. One pendant battery charges in the base station charger, while the other battery is in the pendant. Simply swap the batteries around every few months. Press the battery test button on the back of the pendant for a second to hear an audible announcement - “battery is OK”, “battery is low”, or “replace battery now”. No more guessing.
24 Hour Standby Emergency Battery Power 4 NiMh rechargeable batteries continually charge in the medical alert base station to provide up to 24 hours of standby power in the event of a power failure.
Fully Supervised The pendant checks in with the medical alert base station every 13 hours to confi rm its battery status and that it is functioning. In the event of power loss, a very low battery or loss of RF signal - the base will relay the information to the Medical Care Alert Monitoring Center.
Answer the Phone An incoming call can be answered with the pendant if desired. A convenient feature if you are out in the yard away from the house phone.
Up To 4 Pendants or Buttons Program in up to a total of 4 pendants & Emergency Wall Communicators to a single medical alert base station.
