The Medical Alert Monitoring Center
Medical Care Alert provides the very best medical alert monitoring in the industry, with EMT-certified agents who understand and care about seniors.
You can be confident in our state-of-the-art monitoring center, our certifications, and our technology. But the real difference is in our trained, professional, polite and caring agents who will answer your call and send for help. It’s important to us, because we monitor our family members too.
And unlike other medical alert companies who outsource to overseas contact centers, we are proudly based in the USA, and we stay on the line until help arrives.
What Happens When You Press The Medical Alert Button?
When the Medical Alert system is activated, it automatically and instantaneously contacts our US-based Medical Alert Monitoring center.
Here’s what happens next:
Your contact and medical information is kept strictly private and collected on your Personal Profile prior to activation. The Monitoring center agents have this information at the time your call is received. They can tell EMS about any conditions you may have, and even how to enter your home if your door is locked.
And our agents stay on the line until help arrives, monitoring the situation, letting you know you are not alone.
Our LifeSafety Operators specialize in Medical Alert monitoring and interacting with seniors. All agents have a minimum two-year college education or military equivalence, are EMT-certified, and only monitor medical alert calls.
We conduct extensive background checks and screenings, looking for agents who truly care about the people they serve.
Our US-based LifeSafety agents are trained to handle any situation:
Our agents are professional, yet personable to respond with grace, sensitivity and patience to our customers who may be experiencing conditions symptomatic of advancing age or emotional trauma.
Our intensive six-week training program, certified by the Security Industry Association (SIA), is the most stringent in the industry. It begins with two weeks of formal classroom training, two weeks of Operations training under the supervision of CCS/Trainers, and two weeks of hands-on training monitored by Supervisory staff. We take this seriously.
